CARLY & GENE - SORRENTO

This incredible wedding took place at a private residence on the beautiful Morning Peninsula. It was a truly romantic wedding with soft linen and natural sisal styling with palms, olive trees, white hydrangea and Queen Anne's lace. We worked closely with florist Michael Strownix and the bride to create a relaxed but super chic space for Carly and Gene's family and friends to enjoy. 

When Carly and Gene met with me (Sophie), we chatted extensively about what sorts of thing they liked, places they had spent time together, restaurants, parties and family occasions. We talked about a casual menu, with refinement and one that was centered around some personal experiences…

CHARLOTTE & CHARLIE - SORRENTO

This truly remarkable wedding saw guests arrive at a spectacular beach side private estate in Sorrento. Guests were greeted with a row of wait staff offering classic gin and tonics and sparkling water. An incredible floral installation at the end of the aisle created by Michael Strownix framed the nuptials.

After the ceremony, guests were lead to a cocktails and canapes areas on freshly cut grass adored with simple lounges, high bards, stools and throw pillows.

The reception marquee was unlike anything Cookes had created before. A sophisticated Great Gatsby styled marquee featured magnums of French champagne in a bathtub on a riser, giant palm trees, silver disco balls, ferns and orchard installation that hung above the extensive dance floor with a 10 metre long bar that served every cocktail imaginable…

MAX & ISSY - FLINDERS

An indulgent shared banquet Luncheon with paired France Soir wines, created a feast like no other for this relaxed country wedding.

Two long tables with simple white linen, olive plates and Lotus Flowers from the properties damn featured under a 30 meter clear marquee under a canopy of maceocarpa trees.

The extensive Mediterranean menu featured burrata with heirloom tomatoes, pickled purple asparagus, squash crudo, rainbow chard and charred red peppers…
