We love to create experiences around food to celebrate the bonds we have
with one another.

From a simple dish shared at home, to an elaborate feast which brings friends and strangers together.

FYANSFORD - LONG LUNCHEON

A perfect mix of casual and rustic with little elements of refinement that make all the difference for this stunning long luncheon in Regional Victoria. Michael Strownix created large baskets filled with wildflowers that looked as though they had been pulled straight from the garden. The Design Depot supplied some elegant natural dinner plates and the olive napkins we sourced from a local company in Geelong...

MERRICKS NORTH - CELEBRATION

This dreamy outdoor long luncheon that we catered and event managed in Merricks North was nothing short of spectacular.

A pop-up Fairhaven marquee, simple white linen clothes tables, navy napkins and wooden chairs mismatched with the clients, ensured a beautiful day had by all of the lucky guests.

Seafood antipasto on orange Carolina plates by Oscar de la Renta. Wines from France Soir and Curly Flat served with slow roasted lamb shoulder, light, fresh salads and creme brulee for dessert.

WHAT WE’RE MADE OF - COOKES FOOD

A few times a year, we host our very own event. We think it is important to introduce us to new people, bring together like-minded people and sometimes we throw in a few who we respect and admire in the hopes that one day they will give us a bit of a go.

In the chilly months of winter last year, we created an event at our kitchen. We comfortably crammed 40 people into our kitchen and meeting room, and created a casual yet high end feel with soft furnishings, lots of warmth and of course candle light. This provided a platform to showcase Cookes Food and cook exactly what we want and create a look and feel that speak to us. Something we rarely have the opportunity to do.
